Style Farm Butchers Meat

Style Farm Butchers was created in 2012 by Local Farmer Des Beatty and Local Meat Trader Wayne Philbrow. Great friends for many years they both shared the same passion to provide the local area with affordable locally sourced meat this led to the start of Style Farm Butchers. With Des’s experience with Farming and Waynes experience and knowledge as a meat trader this passion has become a reality.

They are now delivering to the best restaurants, hotels and pubs over the South West as well as to feeding families in their own homes.

As well as providing good food they also believe in training their own butchers and now have an apprenticeship scheme in place where they encourage and teach local young school leavers to learn the art of butchery.

Mrs. Darlingtons

Marion Darlington started making her award-winning range of products in the 1980s. Now in her 70’s, Marion is still the ‘Mary Berry’ of recipe creation in the family firm – there are few to rival her skill in creating preserves and chutneys with such a fabulous homemade taste. However, one of those rivals might just be her eldest daughter Sarah – they’ve been working together for 27 years, so when we say on the jar ‘Made with Love’, we really mean it!

Cartwright & Butler

We stock a wide wage of Cartwright & Butler products  ranging from delicious chutneys to tasty savoury crackers. Here is a quote from Cartwright & Butler them selves, 'At Cartwright & Butler we ensure that all of our products use only the finest of ingredients so you can be assured of a traditional, homemade taste with a sense of luxury. All Collections from the delicious Sweet Biscuit range through to our deluxe hampers are showcased in our signature stunning packaging that create a perfect gift that can be used again and again or a well deserved treat'.

Ivy House Milk

Geoff and Kim Bowles moved to the lovely Somerset village of Beckington in the early eighties. They began by milking around 100 freshian cows twice a day and sold their milk to a large dairy in the area, It was as the milk prices began to drop that they realised they needed to do something or they would no longer be able to continue to farm. Its was Geoff's Uncle John who came up with the solution and sold them 50 Jersey Cows. The Jersey herd began to build and build and they began to make Clotted Cream and bottle all their own milk on sight, turning the old farm offices into pasteurising rooms. They then began expanding into different creams, whole milk, skimmed and semi skimmed milk, butter and buttermilk and began to not only deliver locally but also in London.

Sandridge Farmhouse Bacon

The Wiltshire Curing method was developed by the Harris family of Calne in the 1840's. Sandridge Farmhouse bacon provides you exceptional quality for bacon you have yet to taste. With their unique curing methods they are able to make the best bacon they possibly can due to years of experience and passion for the business.

Customers appreciate their products such as Streaky Bacon and Gold Rind Back Bacon due to the fact they know it is a local product and its quality is incomparable because of how unique its flavour is.

Fussels Fine Foods

Andy Fussel comes from a long line of farmers and his grandfather built the first Fussels Brewery in Rode in 1932. Fussels is a product that is essential for everyone's cooking regardless of the recipe. With its selection of infused rapeseed oil, Fussels stands at a much higher ground than other oil products because it is local, fresh and excellent quality.

These oils can be used for salad dressings, light and deep frying and even for roasting potatoes due to its versatility.

Farmhouse Biscuits

Farmhouse biscuits come with an incredible flavour and they have the power to make your cuppa even tastier whether its tea or coffee. Operating since 1973, the brand grew exponentially into what it is today due to the high demand it received from the start. This allowed the company to relocate but still maintain its original baking methods. From the growth of the business that started in a kitchen into a 200,000 square foot facility, Farmhouse is still determined to deliver high quality traditional biscuits.

Bay Tree

The Bay Tree has over 150 products and all of them are full of excellent flavours and quality. It all started by making delicious preserves with her mother, Emma Macdonald. The fusion between traditional cooking methods with innovative flavours allowed for the traditional values of the business to be kept intact. These values are still central for them; making the ordinary extraordinary.

Border Biscuits

Border Biscuits started in 1984 and from then on they have only grown into a very successful biscuit business. John Cunningham started with a theory that was "if the biscuits were good enough, word of mouth would spread" and that is exactly what happened. Today Border even has their own TV campaign voiced by Derek Griffiths that shows how Border Biscuitiers Bake Better Biscuits. From a tiny factory with four helpers to 300,000 packets of biscuits a week for customers all over the world.
